Hi Mike!
It was great meeting you and taking your lessons. You
are a natural and I think you really enjoy teaching and
dancing. That's always a PLUS especially when teaching new
dancers. I'm not a new dancer, but the brain doesn't work as
well as it used to, so I appreciate a good teacher. And, very
important to me, you're friendly and personable and funny. The
classes were fun to take and easier to learn.
Which brings me to another subject..........karaoke.
You were hysterical. Q really set you up on that one. She's a
close friend and even I didn't suspect that side of her. I was
the person that came up to you on Sunday and said to you, "You
lucked out last night cuz the photographer didn't get that song
on video." You said, "It was videotaped" and then you put your
finger to your mouth and said "Shhh."
At lunch on Sunday, I saw you talking to the
videographer. I assume that Jen got the video. Are they adding
that to the weekend tape, or are you putting something
together? If I knew for sure that you and Q would be on the
weekend tape, I would order it. If it won't be, then please
tell me how I can get a copy of you and Q.
Hope to hear from you soon.

Mike - Good Morning. I hope you arrived safe &
sound to Pennsylvania. Anyway, I didn't want another day to go
by without telling you that I enjoyed and had fun learning your
dances. Sally, Fred and I had a great time. You have a very
lovely personality and teach your dances with fun and joy. It
was an honor for me to be able to attend your workshops. Your
last workshop was the best, you had us all laughing and when
time was up, you didn't give up on us. You took us to the room
next door and continued with the teach. My friends and I are
looking forward to seeing you in Las Vegas next year, God
willing. Thank you very much for the new dances and for making a
very enjoyable experience. As soon as I have a chance, I will
forward some of the pictures I took. Your big fan from El Paso,
Texas.

Hi Michael,
Janie and I would really
like to thank you for your presence at Vegas Dance
Explosion 2009, in our opinion you were the life of
the party! It seems you were everywhere at once
either, teaching, DJ-ing, dancing, talking to, or
entertaining people! It's obvious you really, really
enjoy and love what you're doing! Our friends Sally
and Zaida (who kept calling you David) were also
thoroughly impressed with you! Your choreography and
teaching style made your workshops awesome! Your
willingness to go the extra mile for the dancers was
obvious! We certainly hope that you'll be invited to
VDE 2010 and we intend to let Doug and Jackie know
exactly how we feel about it! Thanks again for your
major contribution in making VDE 2009 a truly
enjoyable and memorable experience for us! You're
most definitely the embodiment of "Life's Short,
Dance Hard!" We wish you the very best in any and
all your future endeavors and we are really looking
forward to seeing you sometime, somewhere in the
future!!

Another first, for
me, was working with Michael Diven – what a nice guy. Well
(in my book at
least) there is more than one energizer bunny – in addition to THE
John Robinson there is also Michael Diven.
Michael never stopped “DOING” stuff. If he wasn’t teaching, he was
DJing; if he wasn’t DJing, he was dancing; if he wasn’t dancing, he
was running around helping with a technical problem, if he wasn’t
helping out, he was chatting and entertaining the guests, if he
wasn’t chatting and entertaining, he was cracking everyone up at
karaoke – a real team player and A REAL FUN GUY!!! He brought along
some of his dances – BLEEDING LOVE, OFF THE HOOK and YOURS – all
well received. Like JR (our #1 energizer bunny) Michael loves to
have fun on the dance floor - just loves to play and loves to
laugh. Kudos Michael – I loved your energy and spirit.

Thanks for
a wonderful evening. Considering our usual turnout for
events, I believe that it went very well for a first try.
As I suspected, I am in agony today, but I wasn’t smart
enough to quit. You were a big hit with all who attended
and I know they will share their thoughts with others.
Thanks
again, I will be in touch.

Mike was a very good DJ. He
helped make sure that things were running on time and I would
recommend him to anyone who is looking for a dj for their
wedding or event
